This track is an instrumental piece built around the acoustic chord progressions and riffs. With just the acoustic guitar, the song was very reminiscent of a lullaby. I started playing it actually well before we found out about our little girl. It had an oddly calming effect.

Then I had the bright idea to record lead guitar over it. Then it became its own animal. It gave a darker edge to it, but still retained a bit of the sweet melody.
